On Top - The Botanist

Painterly, political, geometric or nautical, how would you style The Botanist dungarees?

I've gathered some of my favourite childrenswear brands together in a series to celebrate how versatile and fun dungarees are.

Blaou are a brilliant gender neutral brand based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Their prints are so fun and refreshing, and the company places a heavy focus on sustainability. From making limited edition runs of garments out of excess workwear industry clothing, to manufacturing locally, shipping without plastics and using organic cotton where possible.  There is so much to love about this brand

Another fun brand with all over prints, this time with an understated aesthetic is Main Story. Their colour palette is lovely and muted with pops of colour, and the cut of their tops and bottoms are very minimalist cool.

Cissy Wears is another business that I just adore. The warm, earthy colors in her Instagram feed always draw me in and make me feel cosy with the wonderful textures that often pop up, yet at the same time I'm well aware of the edgy vibe they've got going on too. P.s. there are so many beautiful, practical and sustainable products in this store beyond children's clothing. Pps. Love a black tee on a toddler

What Mother Made is another brand that I've admired for a while now. You might be familiar with the brand for her striking african wax print and gingham fabrics made into fun vintage inspired garments. This striped top is such a cool step up from a basic stripe tee, in particular I love the mid length raglan sleeves.
